Celebrating Five Years of Delicious, Nutritious and Socially Beneficial Nut Butter!

January 2018 marks Peanut Butter Americano’s fifth year of producing all-natural peanut and almond butters for consumers of all ages and tastes. Founded in 2013, the company began with Jeff Malkoon experimenting with small batches of peanut butter in his mother’s kitchen after volunteering abroad in South America—the region where the peanut was first cultivated thousands of years ago. Since selling the first jar of peanut butter at a Phoenix farmers’ market, we’ve delivered all six of our nut butter flavors to thousands of homes globally.

Milestones

Through Peanut Butter America’s giving arm, Fund For the Americas®, we’ve been able to follow our mission of aiding community development, education, and poverty relief efforts across the Americas. Contributions include enough nut butter to make over 12,000 PB&J sandwiches!

Other notable milestones over the past five years include:

  • Expanded product availability in over 300 retail locations, including the company’s first international exports
  • Over 1000 festivals and farmers markets attended, with over 500,000 samples handed out
  • Six unique flavors of almond and peanut butters developed, including non-dairy, non-gluten, and sugar-free options

Looking into the future, we aspire to build on our successes in giving, product availability and variety. With the support and generosity of countless organizations and individuals, we’ve accomplished more than we could have thought possible in such a short span.
